All car rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or when picking up the vehicle. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, charges, and your responsibilities for the rental. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria for Hire
Renting a vehicle requires:
- To hire a vehicle in Hazel Grove, you must be at least 21 years of age, although age restrictions may vary based on the type of vehicle chosen, with extra fees applicable for drivers under 25. A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle category is required, along with valid identification and proof of your current address. Booking and Payments
- Reservations can be arranged via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Hazel Grove office. A deposit may be necessary to finalize your booking. The balance and security deposit are usually payable at the time of vehicle collection. All charges are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through established payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice given. For precise information, please check your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rented Vehicle
- Usage of the vehicle for illegal activities is prohibited. Engaging in racing, off-roading, or any risky behavior is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle to unauthorized individuals is forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly against policy. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not designed for, nor should it exceed designated passenger or weight limits. Driving outside the agreed geographical areas without prior consent is also prohibited.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Hazel Grove will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may arise from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the total amount paid for the rental in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.

These Terms are regulated by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in these regions.
